Uninstalling the Facebook Application
A. On iOS
To uninstall the Facebook app on iOS, you'll have to delete it. Here's how to do that.
- Find the Facebook application icon
- Tap and hold it
This will make "X" appear on the top left corner of all app icons on your screen
- Tap the "X" on the top left corner of the Facebook app icon
- Tap Delete on the pop-up window
The Facebook app icon will disappear from your screen now.

B. On Android
- Open Settings on your device
- Scroll down to find and select Apps
A list of all the applications you have installed on your device comes up.
- Scroll down to find the Facebook icon
- Click it
This will take you to the Facebook "App Info" screen.
- Tap the UNINSTALL button
A pop-up window will come up asking if you want to uninstall the app.
- Tap OK on the bottom right corner of the pop-up window
This will uninstall the Facebook application. It will take a while so just give it some time.
