A. For Mobile Devices
We'll start with getting this done on mobile devices. Follow the steps underneath.
- Open your Facebook application
- Tap the menu bar on the bottom right corner (iOS) or top right corner (Android)
- Tap Settings
- Select Account Settings from the new window
- Select Privacy from the options displayed
This will take you to a new screen with the sub heading which reads "WHO CAN SEE MY STUFF". Under this sub heading are several options such as "Who Can See Your Future Posts", "Who Can See the People, Pages and Lists You Follow" and "Who Can See Your Friends List". Each of these options carry the group of individuals allowed to see them to their far right with an arrow.
- Tap the arrow which is to the right of the Who Can See the People, Pages and Lists You Follow option.
- Click Only me
This will ensure that no one else except yourself, sees the people and pages you follow.
B. For Desktop
- Visit the Facebook website via https://www.facebook.com and enter your log in details to sign in
- Click the downward facing arrow on the top right corner
- Select Settings from the drop down menu
- Select Privacy from the options in the column on the left hand side
This will open a new window with several options. Each option has an Edit option to its far right with a pencil looking icon next to it.
- Click the Edit option to the far right of Who Can See the People, Pages and Lists You Follow
- Click the Friends button
- Click Only me from this window.
You'll be the only one with the knowledge of the people and pages you follow henceforth.
